Kelowna's burgeoning film industry is anchored by the presence of Kelowna Film Studios (KFS), which notably hosted IATSE 891's first unionized show in the area. The city's film scene is enriched by a highly experienced crew, many of whom bring over 25 years of expertise from Vancouver's dynamic industry and are now based in Kelowna, offering immediate access to seasoned professionals.

Complementing this talent pool is Gneiss Stuff, a skilled VFX team known for their contributions to Netflix shows, enhancing the local post-production landscape. Furthermore, KFS's collaboration with Pacific Backlot equips productions with a wide array of essential filming gear, available directly at the studio's backlot. This combination of veteran crew, advanced VFX capabilities, and readily available high-end equipment positions Kelowna as an emerging hub for diverse film projects.
