The ask

What the project needed.

Support a small dramatic short through production and post, from location and camera work through ADR, colour and finishing.

What mattered

What had to work.

The 1960s scenes needed visible period care: props, wardrobe, hair, makeup and location choices had to make young Dave and young Connie feel like memory rather than reenactment.

KFS supported production logistics, cinematography, ADR recording, editing, colour and final delivery across the original shoot, pickups and post-production.

Finished frames and behind-the-scenes photographs from the yard, wardrobe, camera and sound work behind the 1960s scenes.

Wardrobe, hair and makeup carried the 1960s Connie look before the yard sequence moved in front of camera.
The yard scene brought the young cast, family texture and dog handling into one practical location.
Camera placement and child-actor blocking were built around the red-heart prop work.
A controlled pickup setup helped connect the memory sequence to the completed short.
A wider yard view shows the production footprint behind the period-memory scene.
Sound, camera and location work had to stay light enough for the backyard setup.
