The Kelowna Film Studios Sound Stage: Historical Note

The original Kelowna Film Studios sound stage was part of the company's first chapter. It gave local filmmakers, commercial clients and small productions a controlled space to work in Kelowna.

That chapter matters because it taught KFS what productions actually need from a regional base: practical access, power, parking, sound control, equipment, crew support, clear communication and realistic schedules.

The old stage should now be understood as historical context. KFS is not currently positioned as a rentable venue, theatre, hall, rehearsal room, event space or general studio booking facility.

The current work is production services, local logistics, crew/vendor support, location knowledge and project-based production support across the Okanagan.
